Discuss whether Christian multilingualism literature encouraged or discouraged multilingualism during the mediaeval period.To answer this question statement, i thought i would analyze then in my essay, the text of The Tower of Babel in the bible and how it was perceived in medieval times, Alfred the Great’s and Aelfric’s prefaces, and either Skelton’s “Magnificence” or speke parrot, but i believe “Magnificence”. But suddenly came to my mind, are those texts considered christian literature or not, they speak about christian stuff but I’m not sure if want I’m saying is right. Maybe only the first text is Christian literature. So I don’t know if my question is right, and how to ask my idea and get a thesis statement about this… Even though my question doesn’t have to be in the introduction, it’s just for me to know where I’m going, which I don’t. And I need you to come up with one or 2 thesis statements to answer this question, or even another question around, this.
