Do you think collegiate esports should be governed by the NCAA?

Varsity collegiate esports has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years. In 2017 the NCAA announced it would begin exploring whether it should play a role in governing collegiate esports (the motion was tabled in late 2018). Do you think collegiate esports should be governed by the NCAA? What are some of the positive and negative consequences of NCAA inclusion in college esports?
