Ethics – Knowledge of philosophers Mill; Kierkegaard; and Nietzsche
The Final Exam (FE) is designed to test your knowledge of the philosophers covered in Weeks 4-6 (Mill; Kierkegaard; and Nietzsche). The FE is comprised of short, open-ended essay questions designed to test, for instance, (a) your ability to critically analyze a philosopher’s claims/positions, (b) whether you can offer concise, clear accounts of your own views/positions, and (c) your ability to think intelligently about important questions related to morality and the good life.
