This abstract must review an issue that is prevalent in today’s society.You will create a document that will provide the reader with some relevant information that may include: prevalence, background info, mechanism of action, effects of abuse, treatment options, resources for info. You must present some recent (2015 or newer) evidence or research on some aspect of the addiction from at least 2 sources. For example, if your topic is smoking addiction you may want to search the online database (Pubmed) to identify 2-3 research trials that have looked at smoking cessation therapies and present/compare the results. Remember that regardless of whatever addiction you choose, the content must be based on valid, relevant, and referenced evidence. Make sure all of the facts and statistics you cite in your abstract can be verified and are from a reliable source.
