Influence of Marcel Duchamp on 20th Century Art.

This is the thesis statement I have written——While it is understood that Marcel Duchamp helped to influence modern art. This paper argues how there were many factors influencing Duchamp’s impact on the 20th Century Art Movement. To demonstrate this point, this paper will examine what 20th century art is. This Paper will assess the extent of its influences regarding Dada, Cubism, and Conceptual Art. Analyzing the works of Duchamp reveals how his works were fundamental in shaping the 20th Century Art scene. Therefore, this paper concludes that Duchamp was a fundamental part of 20th Century thinking, and his significant influence is demonstrated by his work produced during this time period.——- Paper must include footnotes and bibliography in chicago style.
