This assignment aligns with candidate learning outcome 5.All candidates must complete an APA-style research paper based upon a methodology/intervention for individuals with ASD. Candidates are required to conduct research based on methodologies covered in class and select one to complete their research paper. The methodology selected must be supported with at least three research-based references documenting its effectiveness for working with or teaching individuals with ASD. Three professional, peer reviewed journals (not articles found on autism Web sites and other miscellaneous sites on the Web) are required as references (e.g., education journals; see “miscellaneous resources” for suggested journals). You may also refer to the APA Web site in the Web site section of the course syllabus for more information on APA style. Additionally, there is a folder on Blackboard that links to APA resources.
