Prepare a memorandum that compares and contrasts the following business entities: 1) a sole proprietorship, 2) a Limited Liability Company (LLC), 3) a sub-chapter S Corporation and 4), a sub-chapter C Corporation. In your discussion please be sure to comment on 1) how each of these entities is taxed (e.g., one or two levels of tax), 2) what tax return filing forms each entity uses to report the annual tax information and if relevant the forms used to inform each owner of their share of entity income items, 3) the extent to which the entity has limited or unlimited liability (be sure to define what you mean by limited liability as part of your answer), 4, the extent to which the entity is subject to Self Employment Tax and 5) whether the provisions of Section 199A enacted as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 apply to this business entity type.
