You will be completing ten (10) assignments throughout this course, mainly using your own data. These focus on mastering the calculations and other types of number work. Assignments form the foundation of your Portfolio.You will receive 1 mark if the assignment is submitted on time, is legible, and follows the correct layout. The current situation with regard to the global pandemic is restrictive and may vary within days of the beginning of the course. In addition, students are likely to have widely varying opportunities for gathering data. Because of this, the first two datasets (A and B) are very simple and obtainable from within your residence. The second two (C and D) require more time and effort but are still obtainable while in ‘lockdown.’ A need for flexibility is assumed. Each measure must have ten (10) observations.Measure A: Nominal Variable: Ten (10) observations involving least 3 categories. At least one category must require an operational definition. Frequencies should vary between 1 and about 5. Ideally, they are conceptually linked such as types of clothing, genres, household articles, or food.Measure B: Your heartrate (beats per minute).
