Review a letter to Ms Gardel.

letter to Ms. Garland about her article “Let’s Really Reform Our Schools”.  In your introduction tell who you are and why you are writing her.  Then explain to her which of her ideas you agree with and why, and then which of her ideas you disagree with and why.  In a conclusion, possibly give her one or two of your ideas for improving high schools and your final comments.  The six things Garland wants to change are 1. no mandatory school for troublemakers or those who don’t want to learn, 2. wear uniforms, 3. only healthy foods served in the school cafeteria, 4. no competitive sports between schools, 5. no cheerleaders, 6. no prom dance at the end of the senior year to celebrate graduation.
