Analysis of Experience with chronic illness/physical health problemDrawing from your own experience, the experience of someone you know, or the experience of a famous fictional character (e.g., movie character), conduct an analysis of this individual’s experience living with a chronic illness or physical health problem. Your paper should include the following: Review of peer-reviewed background literature about the health problem you have selected. Discussion of the individual’s experience Review of contributors and consequences of the health problem for the person affect. Review of contributors and consequences of the health problem for those around the individual. Discussion, if applicable, of the experience with the health system and application of peer-reviewed literature or course material that might help explain this experience and any outcomes. Description of how the person and close other are adjusting to the health problem. Review of models/theories learned in class that apply to the adjustment, coping, or progression of the individual’s health problem. Reflection on how this individual might make changes to alter or improve their experience, and application of any relevant peer-reviewed literature.Term Paper Requirements:Regardless of your chosen topic, you are expected to: Identify peer-reviewed literature from the University library that applies to your topic. This literature should be relatively recent (e.g., no older than 2005), and you should integrate this literature into the discussion of your topic. Integrate course material into your paper. We will be learning about several models that relate to experiences of health behaviours and illnesses. Be sure to include a discussion of at minimum one of these models into your paper. This discussion should be well integrated into your chosen topic. Present a well-organized paper. You have a great deal of flexibility around what you choose to present and in what order. However, make sure that your presentation of this material is clearly and thoughtfully presented.
