Your task is to write a report to an imaginary newspaper called: “All about antiquity”. A reportage is a slightly longer article. It can be about anything, but compared to a regular news article, a report feels more alive. Environmental descriptions and interviews with people are two important parts of good reporting. Like other articles, a report consists of a title, a preamble and body text. Your task will be to choose something from antiquity to write a report on. It can be a person, an event, a building, a phenomenon or some aspect of society such as. the political structure. In your report you should also interview someone.The assignment requires that you read carefully around your chosen area so that you can clearly and accurately reproduce this in your reportage. Examples of headlines could be: “The cradle of democracy”, “The Greek city states”, “The children of Sparta”, “An image of Hellenism” or “Living as a farmer in Rome” or something else directly linked to the subject of history and antiquity.
