Were the actions of the protesters protected by the first amendment?
Many protesters took to the streets this week in Minneapolis (and other cities across the United States) protesting the death of George Floyd at the hands of the police. Were the actions of the protesters protected by the first amendment? Is there a line to be drawn in which the protesters are not protected by the first amendment?
