Uncategorized Assignment-helpAttached below is going to be the instructions for what is being asked of for the paper.I would like a poem or something along those lines for the assignmentHere is the instructions:The social heart of Central Park is named Bethesda Fountain. There is a statue, the only one meant for the park though many have been added, most of them useless, some terrible. But this was the first: an angel descending above the fountain, her right hand outstretched as if to touch the water. First, google some photos of her (better yet, go see her in the park), not one but several pictures and from different angles and in different seasons. Try getting a feel for her: zoom in (the model was Charolette Cushman, at the time the most celebrated American actress), look at her extended hand, her outstretched wings, her face. What kind of flower is she holding? What does the flower ‘symbolize’? And who are those fat little babies (cherubs) below her? Each has a name and represents something: what? why? Now, find why this fountain and its beautiful surrounding terrace is named Bethesda and what part does she play in the story? Most important: to what is she dedicated, what blessing?I don’t expect you to find all the answers to those many questions –though you will find some answers. And after knowing/viewing the angel, remember what you’ve read and seen the last two weeks about New York City’s water and the water around us. Your task now; use your imagination to express your thoughts/feeling about that angel and/or the surrounding waters. This project can be a poem, a story, a photo gallery, a painting, a song (which can be uploaded?)
