As a brand new teacher, you most likely will start out at a school (if you teach in the San Joaquin Valley) that has a high percentage of English Language Learners. Having a class rich in diversity and different languages is a great learning environment. However, it does present challenges for meeting the needs of all students. What are some takeaways for you as you contemplate your future students?
