What have you learned about gender differences in your family.

1.What did you learn in school? Did you get the basic health ed spiel about how boys are different from girls? Or did your school have any ways by which to teach more complex understandings of sex and gender? 2.What have you learned about gender differences in your family? Did you experience a traditional upbringing where “boys will be boys” and girls should be feminine? Were there differences among what you learned from each parent or guardian? How about from grandparents or other family members? Answer these two questions as it relate to sexism.
