She hopes that the university will be a pioneer for change in the country and that success in implementing such a project, will also encourage others to do so within Kuwait’s education sector. She wishes to begin this initiative by creating a ‘paper-free’ campus. The ‘Green Campus’ aims to have a completely “paper free” campus by the end of the 2021-2022 academic year. This initiative has an ambitious goal of decreasing paper usage by 50% in the first six months, and then completely eliminating it by the end of the specified academic year. If successful, all textbooks, library resources, exams and all administrative procedures at the university will be in electronic format only. Furthermore, the university will be the first to introduce such an initiative in the Gulf Region.Do your research and answer the following questions: a. (Remember your aim is really to persuade people and get their support).2.Write a formal letter to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, explaining this pioneering initiative and its importance for the State of Kuwait.3.Design 2 alternative posters that will be hung around campus, highlighting the initiative OR put together a 1 minute video that will play on social media highlighting the initiative.(Remember that these communication tools should be aligned with the image, identity and reputation of the university).4.After the Eid Holiday you and your group will present the initiative and how you plan to carry it out from A-Z. (I will be representing the investors of the university and you need our blessings to begin). Your pitch/presentation should be informative, creative and should convince me that this is the best thing that could happen to the university. You will also showcase your deliverables.
