Write a 4-6 page paper about the film The Impossible and identify: (a) who is in crisis (may be more than one, but primary one), (b) the nature of the crisis, (c) the course of the crisis, (d) apply crisis intervention model, (e) identify potential resources needed, (6) discuss the person’s attempt at coping with the crisis (whether effective or not), and (f) identify (a list) of potential issues that the person might need to address if referred for counseling – and why, and (g) include how you would intervene with this person if they had a dual diagnosis or co-occurring mental health issue. Some latitude will be given for interpretation.
