Write a deep literary analysis on an assigned text from class. You may choose which piece of literature you’d like to write about, and you may choose to write about any aspect of the writing that was significant. (Remember, “texts” and “literature” include, stories, poetry, films, plays, etc.) Examples include the use of tone, theme, imagery, character, voice, setting, lighting, music, etc. Don’t be afraid to dig deep and tackle issues like character motivation, broader meanings or implications for society, etc. For example, the significance of “Get Out” for the current social situation in America regarding racism, or the character motivations for Hamilton and Burr and how they drive the narrative (and the songs) in “Hamilton”.This should be a more in-depth analysis than you’ve done for your essays.
