Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan Review Students will research and review a city Multnomah county, Portland mitigation plan. The review will include the following labelled headings:1) Summary of the science of the area’s hazards.2a) Geologic map and other figures to help describe the area’s geology and geography. The purpose of the map is to show the relationship between the geology and geography of the area and its hazards. The map should be a “clean” map without extraneous information. You can create your own map using Google Earth. Please do not include hiking or camping maps of the area. The map should include relevant place names to your project.2b) Discussion regarding the relationship between the geology/geography of the area (as shown in the map in 2a) to its hazards.3) Summary of the plan for risk analysis and mitigation.4) Critique/suggestions for improvement.
