Is treatment for alcohol problems available in Tunisia? What is it like for Muslims who have alcohol problems who live in non-Muslim countries like the US or Germany? Is it acceptable for them to get help for alcoholism? I think that in the US we often don’t understand the perspective of Muslim people on substance abuse when we design treatment programs. What are the barriers that might prevent Muslim people from getting treatment?
