What site characteristics does it share with buildings discussed in class or the readings?

Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Japanese, East Indian, Chinese, Native American and other cultures have placed their buildings on the earth within specific systems of orientation, each appropriate to its own “world view.” Find an example of “geomancy” — the system of geometrical placement and orientation of a building or group of building on its/their site — in the present day; a case where the architecture could/would not have been placed in any other configuration. The Chinese system called “Feng Shui” is a good example. How and why is the building sited/situated/placed as it is? Was the siting done with purpose or by accident?
