You will identify a theme in Early Childhood and/or the associated cycles and transitions to research. In addition to the topic you choose you must incorporate an aspect of culture AND a developmental stage into the exploration. Examples of topics include, but are not limited to:•Divorces’ impact on small children in poverty•Community violence among school aged Latino children.•Parental Educational attainment and outcomes for•Self Esteem among Black youth 6-10.•Rates of autism among Asian American toddlers. Review the body of research that addresses the question you pose. The purpose is to:•Identify what is already known about the topic you are researching,•Identify questions that the research doesn’t seem to answer and/or•Make a case for why further study is needed. As you review the journal articles, texts and manuals you select on the particular topic of interest please consider the following:•How are the sources similar in terms of methods, philosophies, claims and reliability?•How do they differ?•Are there gaps in the research that require further study?•Are there particular issues or problems that stand out?
