Difference of News Report and Straight News

News reports are package information about events happening around the world (North, East, West South). It can be shared or moved to different media platforms through word of mouth (radio), printing (newspapers and magazines), postal system (mails, memo, etc.), broadcasting and electronic communication (audio-visual through televisions, movies and internet). Straight news is a type of a news story that reports only the most essential information in a concise and impartial manner. It is also referred to as hard news story which follows the conventional or summary lead where it answers right away all or any of the 5 Ws (Who, What, When, Where, Why) and 1 H (How). This type of story typically follows the inverted pyramid style, which organizes information by descending order of importance or places the most newsworthy information at the beginning of the article
