You are required to submit the notes you’ve taken from the chapter readings and lecture materials. This is a required step in order to gain access to the Chapter 1 homework assignment. Providing your notes indicates active involvement and participation with the course materials. It also allows me to monitor your progress and accurate use of the statistical methods we’re covering each week. I encourage students to take notes by hand, plenty of research supports the benefits of this, and submit a PDF scan. Students are also encouraged to submit the chapter notes by Wednesday each week, allowing ample time to complete the homework.
