I have an essay that includes two questions, this includes two parts 1 and 2. The questions must be answered by including some of the readings and powerpoint slides. The two questions are the following 1. Many of the readings in the course emphasized both the structural and symbolic factors and issues involved in the relationship between masculinities and violence. Through the combination of macro and micro analysis, men become heavily influenced by heterosexual scripts of courtship and male behavior. Using the course material, critically reflect on how these heterosexual scripts contribute to violencebetween men and misogynistic attitudes that hold women as objects in the conquest for sexual encounters2. The past weeks have seen much discussion of systematic racism in the criminal justice system and what should be done to address these issues. These discussions have focused on actors in the criminal justice system such as police and correctional officers.
