Compare between the black civil rights movements in the US (Chronologically). addressing whether racism still persists in America (and if so, what types of racism still exist, why weren’t these social movements successful, and finally how to overcome this issue). Also focus on Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and James Baldwin (contrast between their different approaches regarding the civil rights movement in the US)
This paper is for a social movements class, so please try to explain the mobilization methods used by these social movements (Charles Tilly), and emphasize on whether they successfully reached their goals or fell short while doing so.
In-text citations and scholar sources are required. Use simple vocabulary, and short and concise sentences. English is my second language and i don’t want it to look too obvious that i am not the who wrote it as the professor already has samples of my previous writings, so please avoid any complex vocabulary 🙂
