Describe American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) .

There are two, recognized credentialing bodies which offer a national certification examination for nurse practitioner students. Students who successfully graduate from the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at Keiser University will be eligible to take this national certification examination from either the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Keiser University does not endorse one examination over the other and we recommend that you learn as much as you can about both certifying bodies before you make the decision as to which test you will take.
