The mathematician that I chose is Albert Einstein. Even
though he is remembered for his contributions to physics, Albert
Einstein made important contributions to mathematics. He contributed
several equations to calculus and geometry. Ten of these equations are
known as the Einstein field equations, they were published in 1915. One
of these equations demonstrated hos stress-energy inflicts curvature of
space-time. Albert Einstein was passionate about geometry and algebra.
At the age of twelve, he was convinced that nature could be understood
as a mathematical structure.
Albert Einstein’s areas of study were physics and math. He
developed the special and general theories of relativity. He won the
Nobel Prize for physics for his explanation of the photoelectric
Einstein could not find a teaching position and began to work
in a Bern Patent office. In between analyzing patent applications, he
developed his work in special relativity and other areas of physics.
