Discuss how the group is oppressed and how that oppression affects the members’ opportunities for social and economic justice. Then, think of someone you know from a different racial, cultural, religious or socioeconomic background from yourself. When you first met the person, what were some of the differences you saw; what were some of the similarities? Did any of your attitudes and/or behaviors change as you got to know this person? In what way?
